With spooky restraint and masterful control, Ralph Reed reveals behind the scenes drama that enthralls and disgusts Americans every four years. Brilliantly written, Dark Horse is a political thriller with full of suspense and intrigue that compels the reader to turn page after page and difficult to put down. This brilliant fascinating novel swarms with details of presidential campaigns known to only a political strategist like Ralph Reed. I enjoyed reading this novel immensely.

Dark Horse: A Political Thriller drops you into the middle of an election that mirrors the one of 2008. It will inspire you to get more involved and pray for the men and women who are in the political arena. Dark Horse is well written with several plot lines that keeps you vacillating with curiosity. When when the movie come out?

I don't read many book because they often don't hold my attention but Dark Horse sure did. It fits our time in politics even though it was written before it started unfolding in real life. !!!!Greatb Read!!!!
Great Political Thriller July 12, 2008 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
Well, for a political junkie like me, reading this book was Nirvana. Ralph Reed is a well experienced politlcal activist and has used his years of behind the scenes political experience to produce a book with intrigue, betrayal, and finally triamph. when I finished it I felt that I had had a real look at the political action we never see on the news. It's a tough game, not for sissys. I would reccommend this book to anyone who wants to see how politics works behind the scenes.
What a waste of time. June 25, 2008 12 out of 39 found this review helpful
I regret the time and gas I wasted going be the library to pick this dog up. If you've ever had a liberal thought you're going to hate this book. My best advice: DON'T BOTHER! There are too many wonderful books out this summer to waste one minute of valuable reading time
