Product Description A LONG-HIDDEN SECRET COMES TO LIGHT Jennie McGrady tackles a hazardous new mystery that keeps pointing to a veiled past which somebody doesn't want her to uncover. The JENNIE MCGRADY MYSTERIES have become a number one hit with readers like you (ages 12 and up) providing compelling, spine-tingling mysteries in the style of a contemporary Nancy Drew. Sixteen-year-old Jennie McGrady is a mischievous, impulsive, determined detective who sees a case in every situation. Faced with true-to-life family struggles and school concerns in addition to her perilous adventures, she will win you over with this and her numerous other adventures. In Abandoned, a dangerous mystery shows up in the most unlikely of places the front page of the school newspaper. When a mysterious article claims that a baby was found in a dumpster sixteen years ago, Gavin Winslow, a reporter for the school enlists Jennie to solve the mystery. The story immediately takes a strange turn when they find out that the baby found so long ago is a classmate, Annie Phillips. As Jennie begins to uncover facts, the unanswered questions about the past grow more and more confusing. Jennie can't trust anyone, and she fears that whoever is orchestrating these events might be dangerous enough to go to any lengths to keep a secret safe.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! February 22, 2000 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
WHEN EVER I START TO READ ONE OF THE JENNIE MCGRADY BOOKS I CAN NOT PUT IT DOWN! I HAVE ALL OF THE BOOKS AND THEY ARE EXCELLENT! I DON'T JUST READ THEM ONCE I KEEP READING THEM OVER AND OVER BECAUSE THEY ARE SO GOOD! EVERY TIME I GO TO THE CHRISTIAN BOOK STORE I HEAD RIGHT OVER TO WHERE THE BOOKS ARE TO SEE IF THERE'S A NEW ONE!
Abandoned (Jennie McGrady, 12) by Patricia Rushford December 25, 1999 One of Rushford's best books yet! A wonderful tale of an adopted child's search for her mother. Also very gently looks at both sides of the abortion issue along the way, and puts it back into proper perspective without condemning either side. Although written for youth, I recommend it for all women! Like all the other Jenny McGrady series books, this one will keep you guessing to the very exciting end.

I found some of the Jennie McGrady mysteries while in a christian bookstore one day. I bought the first book in the series, and thought that I'd have something to keep me occupied. I couldn't put it down! Patricia kept me on the edge of my seat the entire book, and hasn't let me down yet!
She has done it again! May 31, 1999 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Patricia had yet again used her wonderful mind to create a wonderful Jennie McGrady mystery! In this book Jennie must find out why some one is on a killing rampage and why their next target is one of the local media! What can she do with only a little amount of time?
