| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Like his father before him, Frank Christian is a devoted Augusta watcher. Their family photos are a virtual who's who of golf greatness, and because the Christian name is high on the leader board of golf photographers, many of the shots that make up this scrapbook--the candids, the action shots, and the behind-the-scenes glimpses--are as classic as a Sneadapproach or a PlayerPlayer pitch. No single image ever captured the complexly patriarchal and patronizing spirit of Augusta National better than Christian's elaborate staging of club co-founder Clifford Roberts, a martinet of a man who once suggested that Easter should be postponed because it conflicted with the Masters' final round. Roberts is captured apparently walking on water with his white-suited black caddie, waist-deep and sinking, toting Roberts's golf bag behind him. Masters devotees will doubtless find its inclusion alone worth the greens fees.
