Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Excellent series for young and old!   March 26, 2007
This whole series is fantastic. I ordered the set for my 10 year old, and have been reading them myself. The characters are great and the story is incredibly engaging. A must read for anyone over the age of 10! (plus, they are partially set in the Chicago area, so anyone from around here can relate to the places that are mentioned!)

5 out of 5 stars Great Series!   November 10, 2006
My 13yr old daughter loved this segment of the series. Her words: "Totally interesting" "Makes me want to get the next segment to see what happens next" "I love the main characters". She found it easy to read and the size of ea book makes it easy to throw in the car or a back pocket. Since the books aren't significantly lengthy, being able to finish one in a week gives my daughter a sense of accomplishment. Start with Book #1 and keep going-they make a great gift for children ages 8 & up.

5 out of 5 stars Great Books for Scaring Your Kids!   September 1, 2006
After your children read these books you will never experience a discipline problem. All you have to do is mention that their bad behavior will cause them to be "Left Behind" and the little suckers will straighten up immediately!

5 out of 5 stars Great reading for teens and adults!   March 8, 2005

This was an excellent series. I've read all of them as an adult before letting any of my kids read them. The theology is as accurate as a fictionalized version of the rapture could be.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through *faith*-- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- not by works, so that no one can boast." If you really want to know about Christianity, try reading The Book of Romans in the Bible (NIV or NLT versions are very readable). This is where true Christianity lies, not with Religion of any sort.

If we could be good enough to get to Heaven on our own, why would we need a Savior? Besides, wouldn't Heaven be an awful place if it were based on our good deeds? Everyone would be walking around telling of great they were and how much better they are than other folks because of the wonderful things they did. Yuck! Not only will there be no more tears in Heaven (Rev. 21:4) but there will be no boasting either. Woohoo!

These books tell of these truths and show accuratly how keep from being left behind!
