Product Description This boxed set of the popular fiction books for girls includes the first 4 titles in the series: Millie's Unsettled Season (Book 1), Millie's Courageous Days (Book 2), Millie's Remarkable Journey (Book 3), Millie's Faithful Heart (Book 4).
Millie?s Unsettled Season, Book 1 (ISBN 1-928749-09-7) Millie Keith is a bright, energetic, and happy twelve-year-old living in the charming town of Lansdale, Ohio, in 1833. Her world is about to be turned upside down when her Pappa announces that he is moving the family west to an undeveloped town on the Indiana frontier. The eldest daughter of eight lively children, Millie must shoulder responsibility for her mischievous brothers and sisters on the perilous journey and learn to trust God for her uncertain future. Will her Christian faith sustain her as she leaves behind friendships and everything she has ever known?
Millie?s Courageous Days, Book 2 (ISBN 1-928749-10-0) Millie Keith put her faith in the promises of God when her parents moved the entire family out to the wild frontier, where life is full of surprises, adventure, and danger. But now Millie, just turned thirteen, finds her faith tested again when tragedy strikes her family, when she loses her best friend because of her faith, and when deadly fevers stalk the town. Can she trust God with life...and death?
Millie?s Remarkable Journey, Book 3 (ISBN 1-928749-11-9) When fifteen-year-old Millie Keith prepared a Bible study teaching on the evils of slavery, she didn?t know that God was about to give her an opportunity to investigate the truth firsthand. To help cure her persistent cough, she leaves her family and frontier home in Indiana to visit the wealthy plantation in the South owned by her Uncle Horace Dinsmore. Will Millie have the courage to live out her faith amidst relatives she doesn?t know?
Millie?s Faithful Heart, Book 4 (ISBN 1-928749-12-7) In 1837, when Millie Keith's parents sent her south to spend the winter with rich relatives, they gave her three pieces of advice: honor your parents, honor God in all you do, and give your heart to Jesus. Millie thought those things would be easy, but alone at Roselands Plantation she finds her convictions tested in ways she could not have imagined. Will the high society lifestyle of the Dinsmore family change Millie?

Normal, everyday girl April 29, 2003 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The Millie Keith books abound in faith and the normal life routines of a girl growing up in the time she is presented. It is also very wonderful the way it presents Elsie Dinsmore and her extended family into Millie's life and her family's as well. They are wonderful companion books to all of the Elsie series.
The best series ever! January 8, 2003 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Millie is a wonderful, maturing Christian girl living in the 1830's of America. She is a girl full of crave for adventure, and with the help of her loving Christian parents works on to the maturity in Jesus Christ. Although Millie is not perfect, she is as much of a role model for girls today as she was a century ago when Martha Finely invented her. I recommend these wonderful book to children and adults who would like to grown in the Lord and learn to acknowledge Hime though their thoughts and actions ...I just want you to know that I think the Millie Keith books are the best books ever written (next to the Bible)!...These books have taught me so much about growing in the Lord and acknowledging Him always....Although the Elsie books were also wonderful, I think Millie was an even better series. I recommend you read them, for you will definately be touched by the Holy Spirit!
