Product Description
2008 Retailer's Choice Award winner!
In preparation for their long-awaited wedding day, Dayne and Katy are determined to keep the ceremony a secret from the paparazzi. Their relationship grows closer and stronger as they plan together, but in the end it takes the help of the Baxter family and many of the CKT kids so that they'll even have a chance at a private wedding. John Baxter is thrilled that his oldest son will be settling down a few miles away, but he isn't sure how any of his kids will handle a situation he can no longer run from--the feelings he is having for his friend Elaine. In the meantime, the Flanigan family is struggling with their young boarder, Cody Coleman, Jim Flanigan's star receiver. After an alcohol overdose, Cody fights for his life. Only God's grace and a miracle can bring him back from the brink of death--physically and spiritually.

2 out of 5 stars Postage   December 2, 2008

It took awhile to get to me and then I had to go to the post office to pick it up and pay postage on it because they didn't pay enough.

2 out of 5 stars Bloomington?   November 25, 2008

Having grown up in Bloomington, attended college there, and have parents that still reside there, I have to say, I'm a little surprised at how "Mayberry" she makes it out to be! Good grief, several newspapers have referred to Bloomington, Indiana as the "Berkley" of the Midwest. While still rather small in size, it is a bastion of multi-culturalism and was listed as one of the most "gay-friendly" and "green" cities in the US! A far cry from a happy little evangelical berg as it's painted in the book. Other than that and the references to the Ezzo's and their bogus "Godly" parenting garbage, the book wasn't too bad!

5 out of 5 stars simply wonderful   March 23, 2008
I have the three series of books that include the Baxter family, its so easy to get involved with their lives and compare them to your own the way Mrs. Kingsbury protrays them. Thanks for all your work, They will
make you stop and take stock in your own life.

This book had to much religion in it. It is a good book but it was not like her other books that had belief in God, but not as strong.

5 out of 5 stars sunrise by karen kingsbury   January 8, 2008
I always enjoy her books. It was good to see Katy and Dwayne get married'
in the romantic Cancoon on the beach. I would love to see Karen's books in the movies.
