Everyone needs this book! September 6, 2007 This is a great book which discusses multiple intelligence theory and how you can use recent brain research on how people learn to help yourself become a fantastic teacher. Great resources and ideas, and it will help you stretch and reach those children who have seemed bored or out of touch!

I'm a missionary educator and have found this book to be extremely helpful as a resource in sharing the basic methods of teaching to different kinds of learners so that all will be able to learn something from every lesson. Even though the book focuses on teaching the Bible to younger children, the basic concepts are easily adaptable to all kinds of subject matter and to just about any age level. It is affordable and easy to read and understand. I have found it works cross-culturally with only a minimum of contextualizing. I originally purchased this book as a supplemental resource because of the handouts printed in it, but have discovered it to be a primary resource for the teachers that I am working with, and try to give a copy to each teacher that I train. The only problem I'm having is locating a vender where I'm located. This book is well worth acquiring as a part of your teaching library - whether you are a pastor, Sunday School teacher/superintendent, V.B.S. teacher/director, or public/private school teacher. I've even used the concepts in training deacons to teach and train future deacons; as well as in providing staff development serminars for university professors.
