MUST READ December 6, 2008
Any woman who is striving to be a true woman of God should read this book. It is short but packed with truth. With Mary as the model von Hildebrand shows that it is truly a privilege to be a woman and that we live that out by imitating Mary the woman, par excellance, and not by being crazy femininists. Men should read this as well because it will help them grow in their own manhood and understand women better and learn to treasure the great dignity and beauty of true femininity.
Privilege of being a woman August 15, 2008
This was an excellent book that refutes the common feminist misconceptions with which women have been indoctrinated for the last 50 years at least. It encourages a woman to take joy and pride in being a woman without having to stomp on men to do it. It was an enlightening and life changing read.
The best book out there promoting true feminism August 14, 2008
Dr. Von Hildebrand has written the best book that I have ever read about the dignity of women. She uses examples from highly praised feminists throughout history to show how the current "feminist" view is not actually promoting women, but trying to turn them into men. Another important part of her book includes using the Blessed Virgin as THE example of a true woman of God. I recommend this book to all of my friends, and I wish more people would read it.

The Privilege of Being a Woman shows the truth about where feminists went wrong and explains the true differences between men and women. This book is short and easy to read but it delves deeply into profound truths. This book should read by every woman -- and it wouldn't hurt men to read it either!
