cover failure February 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
the lyrics in this book are the same as what you hear on the album, which is what i want since there are a few changes from the originals.the only complaint i have is the physical condition of the book.the cover fell off as soon as i tookit out of the package and the binding glue feels and looks fragile.
"Ultimate" is a perfect description. August 23, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
A great songbook of great Jimmy Buffett songs. It has every song on the album, including the songs Jimmy did not write (Brown Eyed Girl; Everybody's Talkin'. I'd been looking for the sheet music of Everybody's Talkin' for awhile, and when I saw it was included, I bought it). Many similar songbooks of albums are not as complete as this one.
The format is chord names and guitar chord diagrams on top, then a treble clef and bass clef for piano, and lyrics. Many of the songs have tempo notes. For guitarists, there is no tab if it's what you're looking for. As a guitarist, I'll get over it, but I wish Amazon's "see inside this book" feature would show at least one page of the actual sheet music, so a buyer has a better idea of what they're buying.

This is a fine book. Many of the somgs can be found in other places, but not all. The transcription is done well. If you are a Parrot Head and have a guitar, keyboard, or piano, you need this book. Well worth the money
